The sad part is while the large majority of the Islamic population do not hold dear the violent teachings of Muhammad, the danger still exists. For if you ever go to the fundamentals of Islam which are found in the Qur'an, the required violence and intolerance is there in black and white. Many have suggested that fundamental Christianity is the same. However the difference is when we go back to the Bible, we do not find any violence or intolerance written there. In fact we find just the opposite, love your enemy and love those that hate you. So that leaves the violence and intolerance of Christianity's past solely in the hand of the priest and clergy who spawned them. To deal with fundamental Islam we must examine the writer who spawned the Qur'an, for that is where fundamental extremist go back to.
When Muhammad was first confronted by whom he thought was the angel Gabriel, he thought he was demon possessed, for Gabriel demanded he read a book and pressed him with it, crushing the life out of him the 3 times Muhammad responded to ask which book Gabriel referred to. Even though he came to believe this being was the angel Gabriel in time, we see a completely different message and persona from the Gabriel who told all three people he met in the Bible (Daniel, the virgin Mary and Zechariah, father of John the Baptist) to not fear and never did any action that injured his recipients.
Muhammad was so distraught from his vision of Gabriel pressing him to death with his book that he sought to commit suicide a multitude of times. Yet it took persons who did not experience his vision to advise him it was from God. Apparently the "Prophet" couldn't even figure it out for himself when his god was speaking to him. If you examine the calling every prophet of the true living God (Yahweh), the prophet was never was in doubt of the message nor wanted to commit suicide due to the angel of God being so rough. This is more consistent with the actions of a demon than one of God's angels.
One other thing to note is that Muhammad could not read or write. So unlike prophets of the Bible, who personally wrote down what Yahweh told them to write, Muhammad had to dictate to others what to write down. There are many other ways Muhammad differs from the prophets of God. Let's examine them and you can decide for yourself if he was a prophet of the God of the Bible, as the Muslims insist.

There are many other ways Muhammad differs from the prophets of God. Let's examine them and you can decide for yourself if he was a prophet of the God of the Bible, as the Muslims insist.
1) Do they preach of other gods (polytheism)?
Muslims insist that Allah is one god only. However few Muslims realize within the Qur'an, that there was a time Muhammad confirmed a vision, endorsing prayer to Allah's 3 daughters goddesses, as the prayers would be brought to Allah by them. This was an attempt to convert his tribe whom, like Muhammad had for the first 40 years of his life, believed in a pantheon of gods of whom Allah was the all important moon god, who even had his own consort. Later Gabriel tells him that he had been deceived, as Satan had slipped in those "Satanic verses". |
|
Have you thought upon Allat and Al-Uzza,And Manat the third, the other? These are the exalted gharāniq [cranes] verily their intercession is accepted with approval. (Al-Tabari, p. 108)
|
This begs the question why as a prophet, Muhammad was unable to tell the difference between messages from Allah and messages from Satan. And if this is the case how we can trust our eternal security to his visions when he was so easily duped. If Muhammad were unable to distinguish Satan's voice from God's voice, then could there be other verses in the Qur'an that Muhammad assumed were from God but were really from Satan? Maybe much of the Qur'an is Satanic in origin, in spite of Muhammad's conviction that it was entirely from Allah.
2) Do they teach that Jesus is God(Trinity) and that he died and rose again?
Mohammad denies Jesus was anything more than a prophet and second to himself. He never really understood how God could have a son without physical union, which flies in the face of his acknowledgment that God was omnipotent. Also a common argument is how Jesus, if he were God could be talking to himself while praying. Of course this is easily explained by God being a Triune, which of course Mohammad rejects.

Also on the crufixion Mohammad goes against hundreds of eye witnesses that were present. Even historians wrote about Jesus apart from the Bible and most peculiar is that all of them included the fact that he was not only crucified but rose after 3 days. So who are you going to believe? Muhammad who wasn't even born and wrote the Quran 500 years after the fact and can't tell the difference between Satan talking to him or Allah, or the historians and hundreds of eyewitnesses to his resurrection and ascension.
3) Do they place God as the focus of their message or man?
It is very clear throughout the Qur'an that Muhammad used its pages not only to justify his deplorable actions, (conquest, rape & murder of captives, marriage to pre-pubescent girls, beating of wives and slaves for no apparent wrong, and lack of forgiveness just to name a few) but to claim entitlement to large percent of loot taken from his myriads of unjustified raids. These days we have seen occult groups do similar actions around their leaders who claim to be God in the flesh. David Corresh comes to mind. So why shouldn't Muhammad be lumped into the same category as these self-proclaimed men of God? Is he really any different?

4) Do they do it for monetary gain or any personal gain?
Muhammad was a man who loved conquest and plunder. The Quran is littered with many unprovoked wars, massacres, and rape of women captives. Even the prophet himself partook in raping of captives. Is this the practice of a godly person? Do we remember the last Biblical prophet who committed atrocities of any kind?

6) They add to, alter, twist, take out of context, or even to replace the Bible.
Muhammad has tried to replace the Bible with the Qur'an which he filled with sayings to justify is horrible atrocities in a quest for riches. He even went as far to say that the Bible foretells of his coming as a prophet.

Interestingly the Bible does indeed speak of Muhammad.
1 John 2:22,23
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist–he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 2 John 1:7 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. |
The Bible speaks of Muhammad as the AntiChrist and warns us not listen to him. The Torah does likewise, with Moses labeling Muhammad a false prophet in Deuteronomy and calls for the stoning of such a one.
7) Lastly does what they foretell come to pass?
Surprisingly according to the Qur'an itself, Muhammad is not a prophet for he has no prophecies to speak of (fulfilled or unfulfilled). Unlike Christians using the Bible, Muslims must to refer to works about Muhammad outside the Qur'an like the Hadiths. The Hadiths were written 2 centuries(200 yrs) after Muhammad died in 632 AD. But the prophecies speak for themselves.

On Entering Mecca
"Truly did Allah fulfill the vision for His Messenger. Ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, IF ALLAH WILLS, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not, and He granted, besides this, a speedy victory."--Sura 48:27

Remedy for Climate Illness
Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 4, Number 234:
Narrated Abu Qilaba: Anas said, “Some people of ‘Ukl or ‘Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of [Milch] camels and to drink their milk and urine [as a medicine]. So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels.”

Resemblance of Children to their Parents
Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 55, Number 546:
Narrated Anas: When ‘Abdullah bin Salam heard the arrival of the Prophet at Medina, he came to him and said, “I am going to ask you about three things which nobody knows except a prophet: What is the first portent of the Hour? What will be the first meal taken by the people of Paradise? Why does a child resemble its father, and why does it resemble its maternal uncle” Allah’s apostle said, “Gabriel has just now told me of their answers.” ‘Abdullah said, “He [i.e. Gabriel], from amongst all the angels, is the enemy of the Jews.” Allah’s Apostle said, “The first portent of the Hour will be a fire that will bring together the people from the east to the west; the first meal of the people of Paradise will be Extra-lobe [caudate lobe] of fish-liver. As for the resemblance of the child to its parents: If a man has sexual intercourse with his wife and gets discharge first, the child will resemble the father, and if a woman gets discharge first, the child will resemble her.” On that ‘Abdullah bin Salaam said, “I testify that you are the Apostle of Allah.”

Conclusion
A prophet is a representative of the God whom the speak for. Muhammad was a self-proclaimed prophet of his god Allah. But based off his actions alone, what do we find out about Allah? We find Allah is allows conquest, plunder, rape, and murder. Muhammad himself spoke many things and then went contrary to them. And we find his revelations from Allah did not come true and many are outright scientifically incorrect. Should we listen to this self-proclaimed prophet or listen to all the other prophets of Yahweh whose predictions even thousands of years in advance not only came true but were extremely precise and scientifically correct even to this day, to the point that our present day scientist learn from them.
Would you rather be enslaved to Allah who has no values for women and no tolerance for anyone who is different, who curses those who won't believe in him? Or you can have a relationship with Yahweh who loves ever person so much so that He sent his own son Christ Jesus to die and pay the price so you could get into Heaven for free? Yahweh is god not of violence and subjugation like Allah. Nor is He moody and ever changing like Allah. Yahweh makes His wishes clear and simple. He wants you take up the free gift of salvation (ticket to Heaven) by simply believing in Jesus as your Savior. Won't you take this wonderful free gift today?

Dear Lord God. I know I am a sinner and need your gift of salvation from my sins. I BELIEVE IN JESUS, the Son of God, as my personal Savior. I believe that His death on the cross and resurrection provides forgiveness for ALL my sins past, present, & future. Please forgive all my sins and come into my heart and life. I hereby trust in Jesus FINISHED WORK alone, and NOT upon me & my "good works", as sufficient to make me right with you and fit for Heaven. Please forgive ALL my sins and come into my heart, Lord Jesus. Seal me with your Holy Spirit until the day you come to take me home. In your Son Jesus’ name. Amen.
